Accept Jesus     Reject Jesus

Congratulations!
You have chosen to accept Jesus Christ and be given access to heaven.

It's time to talk to God by prayer and receive His salvation. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I need You. I Thank You for coming to earth to die on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my God, Savior and Friend. Please forgive me for all my sins. I Thank You for your promised forgiveness and giving me eternal life in heaven with you. Please take control of my life now, give me purpose and make me the kind of person You want me to be. Amen."

Does this prayer express the desire of your heart? If it does, I invite you to pray this prayer right now, and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

God Promises Eternal Life. Thank God often that Christ is in your life and that He will never leave you. You can know on the basis of His promise that Christ lives in you and that you have eternal life from the very moment you invite Him in. He will not deceive you.

"The witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life." (The Bible - 1 John 5:11-13).

Do Not Depend On Your Feelings - Depend On What The Bible Says!

The promise of God's Word, the Bible - not our feelings - is our authority. The Christian lives by faith in the trustworthiness of God Himself and His Word. The moment that you received Christ by faith, as an act of the will, many things happened, including the following:

Christ came into your life --
"Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. 'He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne."
(The Bible - Revelation 3:20)

Your sins were forgiven --
"For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."
(The Bible - Col 1:14).

You became a child of God --
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name"
(The Bible - John 1:12)

You received eternal life --
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."
(The Bible - John 5:24)

You began the great adventure for which God created you --
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."
(The Bible - 2 Corinthians 5:17)

Thank God for your faith! Can you think of anything more wonderful that could happen to you than receiving Christ? Would you like to thank God in prayer right now for what He has done for you? By thanking God, you demonstrate your faith in Christ.

"The righteous man shall live by faith"
(The Bible - Galatians 3:11).

A life of faith will enable you to trust God increasingly with every detail of your life.

Some helpful advice as you begin your walk with God!

Pray Daily:
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and {so} prove to be My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love."  (The Bible - John 15:7-9)

Read God's Word;
"The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily {to see} whether these things were so. Therefore many of them believed, along with a number of prominent Greek women and men."
(The Bible - Acts 17:10-12)

Obey God;
"He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him."
(The Bible - John 14:21)

Witness for Christ by your life and words;
Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
(The Bible - Matthew 4:18-20)

Trust God for every detail of your life;
"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world."
(The Bible - 1 Peter 5:7)

Allow God's Holy Spirit to control and empower your daily life and witness;
"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law."
(The Bible - Galatians 5:16-18)

Fellowship in a Church -- God instructs us not to forsake assembling with other believers.
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."
(The Bible - Hebrews 10:25)

Several logs burn brightly together; but put one aside on the cold hearth and the fire goes out. So it is with your relationship with other Christians. If you do not belong to a church, do not wait to be invited. Take the initiative; call the pastor of a nearby church where Christ is honored and His Word is preached. Start this week, and make plans to attend regularly.
