- THE NUMBER ONE -

It brings a great many images to our minds:

a championship sports team, an Olympic gold medalist,

a valedictorian at a school or a noble prize winner.

The number one is the primary, the greatest.

We all want to be number one.

However, who is really number one?

  Obviously this someone would have to be great;

a real renaissance man who is good at everything.

This person would be the smartest in the class,

the fastest runner and would win in every event.

This person would be the best at everything.

Or at least this is what we think a person who

would be “number one” would be like. Right?
