You know, the guy on the cross at Easter or the baby in the manger at Christmas. He’s usually pictured having long brown hair, a long beard and a white rob.

Did you know that he claimed to be the world's most "Important One"?

You’re saying to yourself right now, “Wasn’t Jesus just a humble, lovable good teacher?” You’re right, he was those things.

He also said this about himself though:

“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.”   The Bible- John 5:39, 40

Whoa, wait a minute; Jesus says that the entire Bible is about him? Yep, he did say that. As a matter of fact, right from the beginning, written in the Old Testament, there are many scriptures that talk about Jesus:

“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.”   The Bible - Deuteronomy 18:15

“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders ; And His

name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore . The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.”  The Bible - Isaiah 9:6,7

New Testament Scripture verifies this also;

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”   The Bible - 1 Peter 1:3-5

All this talk about Kings, Lords, Prophets and God, these all refer to Jesus? Yep...they do. All these different positions are important and Jesus holds them all!

Why? Because Jesus Christ did something for us that is considered the greatest above all else.
